COACHING
The below items are required to sign up as a coach with the Hawks.
RIS Activity Leader
The Respect in Sport Activity Leader Program educates coaches and activity leaders to recognize, understand and respond to issues of bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination.
This is an online course and a minimum requirement for all coaches and must be completed before they are on the ice.
This course expires every four years. Please email registrar@hawksathletics.ca to request a payment code for this program.

If you are a new coach, please complete the RIS Activity Leader course before signing up in Spordle.
If you are associated with another organization either from your playing days or from previous seasons coaching or officiating, the Hawks will need to request a transfer for you. Go here to request a transfer.
Background Check
All coaches are required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) every three years. Your background check must have been done within the last two years in order to be valid for the coming season. If you have one on hand from another sport or from your job, you may also send that our way. The Hawks will request the background check on your behalf and you will be responsible for providing the PDF when it is finished. Email registrar@hawksathletics.ca if you need more information.
