Founded in 1987, the Hawks Athletic Club (HAC) is a volunteer-operated, non-profit organization formed to organize and administer minor hockey in northwest Edmonton.

Hockey with the Hawks is for all children aged four through twelve who will play in age divisions such as U7 (4-6 years old), U9 (7-8 years old), U11 (9-10 years old) and U13 (11-12 years old). You will find our program exciting and competitive, with our main goal being the development of skating and hockey skills.

Many Hawks players reside in the City of Edmonton from Stony Plain Road/MacKinnon Ravine north to the city limits and 97 Street west to the city limits.

The executive committee consists of elected members from annual elections held at the Annual General Meeting.  Appointed board members, directors and sub-committees are formed to undertake projects such as evaluations, tournaments, discipline, equipment management, gaming management etc. The executive committee and board members meet approximately once a month.
